Booking & Policies
-How do I book an appointment?
Appointments are best handled through our [Contact/Booking Form]. Please include a detailed description of your idea, size , placement on the body, and any other info.
-Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit covers the time spent designing your custom piece and holds your specific date in our calendar. The amount is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo on the day of your session.
-What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule. If you provide sufficient notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new date (limit of one reschedule). Cancellations or "no-shows" with less than 48 hours' notice will result in a forfeited deposit.
-Can I see my design before the appointment?
Custom designs are ready for review in person on the day of your appointment. Adjustments can easily be made . We do not send designs via email or text beforehand. We will have a consult so we are both on the same page and all the details figured out.
Preparation & Safety
-How should I prepare for my tattoo?
• Eat & Hydrate: Have a full meal within two hours of your session and drink plenty of water.
• Dress Comfortably: Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed and that you don't mind getting ink on.
• Skin Care: Avoid tanning or sunburns in the area for at least two weeks.
• Substances: Do not consume alcohol or blood-thinning medications (like Aspirin) 24 hours prior to your session.
-What are your sterilization standards?
Your safety is our priority. We strictly adhere to Universal Precautions and Health Canada guidelines. All needles and tubes are single-use and disposed of in medical sharps containers. Every workstation is thoroughly disinfected with hospital-grade virucidal cleaners between every client.
-Is there an age requirement?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old with a valid government-issued photo ID. You can be 16 with parental consent.
Aftercare
-How do I take care of my new tattoo?
1. Keep it covered: Leave your initial bandage on for 4-8 hours.
2. Wash gently once a day: Use lukewarm water and a fragrance-free, antibacterial liquid soap. Use your hands only—no washcloths.
3. Pat dry: Use a clean paper towel to pat it dry. Do not rub.
4. Moisturize: Apply a very thin layer of a recommended aftercare balm or fragrance-free lotion 2 times a day.
-What should I avoid while healing?
• No Submerging: No swimming, hot tubs, or baths for two weeks. Showers are fine.
• No Sun: Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight until fully healed. Once healed, use SPF 30+ to prevent fading.
• Don’t Pick: It will itch and flake. This is normal. Picking or scratching can pull ink out and cause scarring.
-Do you offer touch-ups?
We stand by our work. One "courtesy touch-up" is offered within the first 3 months of your appointment, provided the aftercare instructions were followed. Touch-ups on high-wear areas like fingers, palms, or feet are not guaranteed.
-Rates & Payments
-How do you price your work?
Pricing is based on either an hourly rate or a flat "piece price" depending on the complexity and scale. We have a shop minimum of 100$ regardless of size. For large-scale projects like sleeves or back pieces, we can provide a rough estimate during your consultation.
